Tour & Talk: Tiny Houses

We have an exciting event coming up in September with a site visit to the Hangan Tiny House display site in Launching Place. Established in 2017, they have around 15 models of tiny house on site, mainly custom builds. On this visit, we will have a look at their various models and will have some time with the staff to ask questions.

This event will be facilitated by Maya Ward, PYV committee member, with a background in architecture. Maya has dwelt in a couple of tiny homes and a small (50 square metres) house – all of which she co-built and designed. Maya will speak with us about the tiny house trend and how permaculture can inform and improve tiny home design.
